Carlos Whitmore

Julian Almany

Julian Almany was the 10th member of the Rolling In Golf Club, and was an active participant in the inaugural year of the club in 2008. Julian continued his devotion to the club and its mission to promote, support and play the game of golf until his untimely death in September 2016. Known for his smooth swing, even demeanor and his skills in teaching all facets of the game, he was always willing to give advice to any player, but only if asked.   He will be sorely missed.

Carlos was a friend and sponsor to RIGC.  He will be missed for many reasons but none more so than his love of Rolling In Golf Club.  Before he passed, he expressed his love for the game of golf and golfing with all of his friends at RIGC.  Many will remember Carlos twisting himself into a pretzel on the tee box.  We will miss Carlos as a friend and member of our Rolling In Golf Club family.

Bill Gawthrop

"Golf is deceptively simple and endlessly complicated; it satisfies the soul and frustrates the intellect. It is at the same time rewarding and maddening, and it is without a doubt the greatest game mankind has ever invented."   ..Arnold Palmer

Bill Gawthrop was the very first person to move into Twin Lakes. He and his wife, Liz Buckheister were both avid golfers. She  was better than Bill and often won tournaments. Bill was a train enthusiast. His basement was completely filled with one huge model train set. He often traveled on trains across America. He was a great guy and is missed by his golfing buddies and other neighbors.

Myron A. Lederman

Myron A Lederman, DPM; a husband, a father, a podiatrist, a golfer and a friend of RIGC. He was one of the original members of RIGC and we will miss his brotherhood of our club. If he was able to play, you can count on him there. A true friend to the club and he certainly will be missed. There was never a day of RIGC golf where you would not hear Myron say “Hi There, How you doing”? He may not be one of the best golfers, but he certainly was one of the RIGC’s best friends. Your RIGC family will miss you.
